Hello Judy and the members of Studio 55. This is Dessie Durham now living in Virginia. I just wanted to say hello to every one. The art community seem to be growing right out of its seams! I spend my time painting. I have my own website, a blog and sell my art prints at my Etsy shop on line. My website URL is: http://dessie-h-durham-.artistwebsites.com/
I will be moving back to Springfield at the end of the year. I will need time to settle in and don't want to commit to too many activities until I get settled back in, but I am interested in this guild. I am a papermaker with plant fibres and create sculptural art pieces with a green message. I am also involved with the new botanical centre and will be teaching an advanced training session during the upcoming Missouri Master Gardener State Conference, to be hosted by the Greene Country Master Gardeners at the botanical centre in September. I hope to be able to view your exhibit at the centre at some time when I am visiting in Springfield in preparation for my move. I look forward to meeting new people, even though I do still have friends from having lived there in the past... Mimi

I understand that you will be very busy after the move and will not want to commit to projects, but please do stop in for a meeting. We are interested in all types of art and welcome new ideas and teachers. You would be a great asset to the group.
